SP Tulsian`s view on SBI
SP Tulsian, sptulsian.comshares his view on SBI. Tulsian told CNBC-TV18, “SBI numbers, it is the assetquality slippage which we have seen of Rs 10000crore + on the gross level and Rs 7300 crore on the net level. There has been no disappointment on the expected profitability front,but from hereon if you takea value call on the book value with an EPS of close to about Rs 55 every quarter, the book value of Rs 1650 as on June 30 which will move to about Rs 1800 crore on a standalone basis, somewhere the valuation call will come in which will not allow the stock to fall below Rs 1800.” He further added, “I am not too apprehensive that we will be seeing the repeat of that lower level of Rs 1600 crore + which we have seen after the December quarter results. So, may be every quarters addition to the reserves and surplus or may be increase in the book value is definitely giving a base to the stock.” “Nowadays we are seeing the swift correction which we are seeing happening-
